Microbial Biotechnology Reposition Against Covid-19: Microbial Production Case Flavonoids

Coronavirus 2019 related disease (Covid-19) became a pandemic in February 2020, and researchers worldwide tried to overcome this disease with drugs agreed to all types, or to develop new compounds that inhibit the spread of the virus. Flavonoids, have been investigated as antivirus in general, can also bear special activities for viral agents that cause Covid-19, SARS-COV-2. Microbial biotechnology and especially synthetic biology can help produce flavonoids, which are secondary metabolites of exclusive plants, on a larger scale or indeed to find new pharmaceutical active flavonoids.

Here, we review antivirus activity in (i) special flavonoid antivonal activity for coronavirus and (ii) results obtained from computing studies, most docking studies mainly inhibit specific coronaviral proteins such as protease surges (main), surge proteins or polymerase RNA Depending on RNA. In the end, we struggled towards the synthetic biology pipeline which made valuable and adjustable flavonoids of flavonoids to apply the last concept of labor division through a co-cultivation / microbial approach to DBTL (design, building, testing, learning) principles.

Application of Nanobodies in Plant Science and Biotechnology

This review summarizes the current Nanobodies application in plant and biotechnology science, including the expression of nanobodi plants, plant biotechnology applications, nanobody immunodetection, and resistance mediated nanobodi to plant pathogens. Nanobodies (nbs) is a variable domain of heavy chain antibodies (HCAB) isolated from camelids. Apart from their single domain structure, Nanobodies displays many unique features, such as small size, high stability, and Cryptical epitopial accessibility, which makes it ideal for advanced applications on plants and animals.

In this review, we summarize current nanobodi applications in plant and biotechnology science, focusing on nanobody expression on plants, plant biotechnology applications, determination of plant poisons and pathogens, and resistance mediated by nanobodi against plant pathogens. The prospects and challenges of nanobody applications in plants are also discussed.

From acetate to bio-based products: Underexploited potential for industrial biotechnology

At present, most biotechnology products are based on microbial conversion of carbohydrate substrates which are largely generated from plants containing sugar or starch. However, the direct use of competitive from these raw materials in the food industry and feed represents a dilemma, so using alternative carbon sources is increasingly important in industrial biotechnology.

Promising alternative carbon sources that can be produced in large quantities of lignocellulose biomass and gas C1 are acetate. This review discusses the potential for acetate underexploitation to become the substrate of the next generation platform in industrial biotechnology in the future and summarize alternative sources and routes for acetate production. Furthermore, the biotechnology aspect of the use of microbial acetate and the state of the acetate conversion biotechnology becomes a value-added bioproducture highlighted.

Biology and biotechnology nano pilus microbes

Type IV Pili (T4P) is a complement of bacteria used for cell adhesion and surface motility. In bacteria that reduce metal in Geobacter genus, they have unique properties for conductive and important to fade cells for extracellular electron acceptors and other cells in biofilms. Electroactive bacteria use conservation lines for biological assembly and demolition of short and aromatic peptide subunits (PILL). Polymerization Cluster Pilins Aromatic residue is optimal for transportation costs and describes ligands for metal immobilization and reduction. The design is simple but the unique functionality of conductive T4P provides an opportunity for the production of ministran recombinant pilins and assembly in vitro they become electronic biomaterials from biotechnology interest. This review summarizes current knowledge about conductive T4P biogenesis which is important to actualize applications in bioelectronics, bioremediation, and nanotechnology.

Calls for Biotechnology Planning and Solutions Policies for Food and Valorization Waste Management in Vietnam

Food waste (FW) is more dangerous than previously imagined. A large number of Vietnam FW ends in a garbage dump, only 20% of them are sanitation. This causes significant environmental problems such as greenhouse gas emissions, high carbon traces, leachate, and landfill related conflicts. FW from urban areas Vietnam is 0.29 kg⸳p-1⸳d-1, accounting for 31.7% of total waste. 38.81% of families issued FW, along with city waste, in accordance with 4,429.21 TON⸳D-1 for the entire country.

For the FW collection, under the head of transportation and treatment, 80,416.95 $ ⸳D-1 and 74,605.57 $ ⸳D-1 is spent, respectively. The analysis of the Vietnam National Strategy for integrated management of solid waste shows that the amount of attention and concern which is currently given for the problem of FW is inadequate to overcome it. To resolve the FW problem, Vietnam needs to be more proactive regarding solutions and efforts, in addition to applying strict regulations. These include national goal settings under the priority of the national strategy, strict regulations, stakeholder involvement, recycling FW for animal feed, biorefinery, and awareness enhancement campaigns.

Description: TLR11, an innate sensor for profilin (Toxoplasma gondii), is an intracellular receptor that resides in the endoplasmic reticulum. The 12 membrane-spanning endoplasmic reticulum-resident protein UNC93B1 interacts directly with TLR11 and regulates the activation of dendritic cells in response to profilin (Toxoplasma gondii) and parasitic infection in vivo. TLR12, a previously uncharacterized TLR, also recognizes profilin from Toxoplasma gondii. TLR12 is sufficient for recognition of profilin by plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), whereas TLR11 and TLR12 are both required in macrophages and conventional DCs. In contrast to TLR11, TLR12-deficient mice succumb rapidly to T. gondii infection.
